Croí, The West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation is committed to respecting the privacy of its donors, volunteers, and all other constituents. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure that all information pertaining to Croí constituents and members of the public availing of our services online and in print, will not be shared with any third parties and that we are compliant with the rules set forth in the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003. Occasionally we may send you information about Croí activities, including appeals, campaigns and feedback on how your contributions have been used. Requests to be removed from contact lists will be respected and acted on immediately by Croí.

Information Collected and How it is Used
Croí collects and maintains basic contact details, payment information for donations and/or event registrations, information concerning how you heard about Croí, additional information you wish you share by way of comments and suggestions and your requests to receive updates. Croí does not collect any personal information from visitors to its website other than information that is knowingly and willingly given.

Information collected is stored on an in-house database that is in compliance with the security regulations set forth in the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003.

Croí uses your information to understand your needs and requirements to better engage with you. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, communicate back to you, and update you on Croí happenings. Credit cards are used only for donation or payment processing approved by you. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve our communication.

Croí will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organisations. We assure you that the identity of all our donors will be kept confidential. Use of donor information will be limited to internal purposes and only to further the Croí mission to reduce the impact of Cardiovascular Disease.
