Croí Responder Trauma Support Service
This unique service is provided by Croí for any emergency First Responder who participates in a resuscitation attempt in the community. We acknowledge that whatever the outcome, a Responder may encounter feelings of stress following a traumatic experience.
This confidential service is provided by the Croí Trauma Support Team.
How to access this Support Service:
In the event of a Responder either performing a lifesaving technique or using an AED in the community, we would ask you to contact the Croí Centre for Lifesaving Training as soon as possible following the event on 091-893500 or 091-544310. This ensures a more prompt response from our Team.
Please give the following details:
- Your location & telephone number
- Date & time of incident
- Number of casualties
- Outcome if known
- AED/CPR administered
- Number of shocks given, if any
- Names of additional Responders
- Reactions of Responders if known
- Request for support
A member of the Support Team will make arrangements to meet you as soon as possible.
