We want you to join the Croí team in the 2012 Barcelona Marathon Sunday 25th March 2012.
The marathon course is relatively flat and is one loop around the main streets of the city, starting and finishing at the iconic Plaza Espanya. Race Start is 8.30 am and the time limit is 6 hours. The average temperature is a mild 13C or 56F. There is traditional entertainment around the course.
 

On Saturday don't miss the excellent 4km Breakfast Run, starting at 9.30 am, which follows the last few kilometres of the Olympic Marathon and finishes in the 1992 Olympic Stadium. There are many attractions, including the famous Sagrada Familia, the Ramblas. Vist the Nou Camp home of FC Barcelona Champions League Winners. Jump on board a cable car with breathtaking panoramic views of the city, superb museums (including the Picasso museum), extensive shopping area, a wide variety of restaurants and
bars, plus a lively nightlife.

This is a fundraising event with all proceeds directly contributing to the fight against heart disease and stroke by supporting research, education, community based prevention programmes and life saving training.
 

Cost per person

The minimum fundraising target inclusive of a €250 non-refundable deposit is €1,200.
Non runner/companions tour €600.
