Carnmore Mile
The second annual ‘Carnmore Mile Challenge’ will take place this year on Sunday, October 4th at the Carnmore Hurling Pitch (near Galway Airport). This year’s proceeds will be shared equally between Carnmore Camogie Club & local heart charity Croí.
The Carnmore Mile is a family fun event, open to all ages willing to participate in a one mile run, walk or crawl in aid of two very worthy organisations. To register for the Carnmore Mile contact any member of the Carnmore Camogie Club Committee or contact Croí directly on 091-544310.
Participants should arrive at Carmore Hurling Pitch any time between 12 noon and 2pm on October 4th. On completion of the mile each participant will receive a commemorative ‘Carnmore Mile Gym Sac’ and a certificate of completion. All participants are requested to raise a minimum of €20 which must be handed in at registration on the morning of the walk.
So, get up and get moving and do just one mile to keep healthy and to support two worthy local organisations -The perfect way to get some fresh air and exercise before the Sunday Lunch!
