Come join an adventurous team of Trekkers on an exciting expedition to the 'Roof of Africa'- Mount Kilimanjaro!

Dominating the landscape like no other mountain, Kilimanjaro is the highest volcano and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5898 metres or 19,340 feet. It is one of the fabled Seven Summits, the highest peak in Africa and a great challenge. The climb is non-technical in nature, making it feasible for everyone. The Trek is both exciting and challenging in that it offers a full mountaineering experience.

The climb  will be guided by our experienced ground handlers from 'Adventure Alternative' an ethical tourism company headed up by well know adventurer Gavin Bate.

This ten day trip consists of 3 days orientation including travel, 5 days hiking to the summit with a 2 day decent and departure on day 11. There are options for additions days which can include a safari or a few days relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar, please contact us if you would like details of the optional add ons as this is not included in your minimum fundraising target.

A non refundable deposit of €400 is required to secure your place on the Croí Trek Team, which is deducted from your fundraising target. 

Once when we have received your deposit you will receive the Challenge Pack and you can be assured that you will receive full support from our fundraising team who will help you reach the fundraising target.

• Mountain entry permits, mountain overnight camping permit, mountain rescue fees
