Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation, in collaboration with Mayo Primary, Community and Continuing Care (PCCC) recently hosted, for the first time in Ireland, a conference for health professionals at the frontline of care delivery in the community.
As many as one in three adults over 40 years of age in Co Mayo are obese according to a report launched Monday, 7th February 2011 by Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation in collaboration with HSE West’s Mayo Primary Community and Continuing Care Department.
The Prudential Ride London 100 event is the cycling world’s equivalent of the Virgin London Marathon and, with around 25,000 participants, will be the world’s largest cycling charity event.
