HEART HEALTHY OPTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS!

Galway’s Italian Olio & Farina Store on Abbeygate Street have teamed up with local heart charity, Croí to promote heart healthy eating this Christmas!

Olio & Farina who specialise in top quality Italian cuisine, have produced Christmas hampers which are in line with the heart healthy Mediterranean diet. The Mediterranean diet has shown to have cardio-protective benefits and the hampers have been endorsed by a Croí dietitian.

Launching their Christmas hampers, Olio & Farina proprietors, Liam and Maria Payne announced that they have specially put together two hamper sizes, one retailing at €75 and the other at €50. Liam & Maria said that, “for each hamper sold, we will make a donation of €12 and €10 respectively to Croí in support of their wonderful work in the area of heart disease prevention.”
