Public Talk by Acclaimed Mountaineer on Climbing to the Roof of Africa!

To launch this Croí Trek, acclaimed mountaineer and adventurer, Gavin Bate will give an illustrated presentation on

Wednesday, December 7th at 7:30pm in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone.

All are welcome and admission is free.

This is an evening not to be missed as Gavin will share his experiences of climbing Kilimanjaro over 40 times to date across all seasons. Gavin will also give an account of his recent summit of Mount Everest. This is a rare chance to hear first hand the extraordinary story of a man’s personal battle with Everest and the vast experience he has gained on Kilimanjaro and many of the worlds most famous mountains.

Announcing details of this forthcoming Kilimanjaro challenge, Croí’s Events & Challenges Manager Enda Kennedy says “We are delighted to be able to offer Kilimanjaro as part of our Events Programme for 2012.
