NUI Galway Teams up with Croi

The 8th Annual Inishbofin Half Marathon which took place on Saturday 18th May 2013 saw over 100 runners and walkers participate in aid of Croí. Results are below and further photos and articles will follow shortly.

The Etape Connemara was officially launched recently at Croí House, The Heart & Stroke Centre based in Newcastle, Galway. Pictured at the Launch were: Barry McCann, Karen Maloney, Neil Johnson & Nigel Forde (Nigel’s Cycle Store).

“The secret to successful weight management doesn't lie in ‘fad’ or ‘extreme diets’ which rarely have any scientific basis” according to local Heart and Stroke Charity, Croí, who has just launched a new programme in Mayo to help individuals lose and manage weight in a healthy way.

A morning of gentle yoga classes and head massage followed by a coffee morning with loads of tasty treats! Yoga classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. Chair yoga class available for people with reduced mobility. All proceeds support the fight against Heart Disease & Stroke.
