Learn CPR and Lifesaving Skills

The Croí Centre for Lifesaving Training offers a selection of CPR courses throughout the year.

We offer lifesaving courses for the general public as well as healthcare professionals. We can teach you what to do if an adult, child or infant collapses or starts to choke.

Course Information

Cardiac First Responder (CFR) - Community Level

Individuals / Community & Sports Groups / Carers

This internationally certified (2-years) course incorporates full Heartsaver CPR and AED training with an additional CFR community level module.

You will learn:

-  CPR and AED skills for adults & children
-  CPR for infants
-  How to manage choking in all age groups
-  How to manage a heart attack and administer aspirin
-  Stroke recognition
-  Recovery position

Course manuals and pocket masks can be purchased on the day of training.

Course duration: 1 day 8.45am - 4.00pm

Size: Maximum 6 students per trainer. You can book as an individual or as a group of multiples of 6.

Course fee:  €75 standard rate includes certificate.

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Healthcare Providers only

Healthcare Providers (Doctors & Nurses etc)

We offer an internationally recognised, certified (2-years) training course for doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers in Basic Life Support which includes use of an AED, CPR and management of choking in all age groups (adults, children and infants).

You will learn:

- CPR; choking; AED in infant; child; adult
- 2-person CPR 
- Bag-Valve-Mask
- Advanced Airway

Course duration: 1 day 8.45am - 4.00pm

Class Size: Maximum 6 students per trainer. You can book as an individual or as a group of multiples of 6.

Course fee: €100 per person. Manual and pocket masks are included in the price.
