Centre for Lifesaving Training

CPR & AED Training

Our commitment to community cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the promotion of the widespread availability of defibrillators began in 2003 with the launch of our first public access defibrillator at Galway Shopping Centre, Headford Road, Galway.  Subsequently, Croí campaigned for the availability of public access defibrillators, the enactment of the Good Samaritan Law and CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) training for the general public.

Croí established it's 'Centre for Lifesaving Training' in 2007.  This facility is now located in the 'Croí Heart & Stroke Centre' and is a registered Irish training site.  All Croí CPR & AED training instructors are qualified in the field of emergency medicine and are internationally certified by the American Heart Association.
